Every new account starts with a 7-day free trial of Pro Max — no credit card required, and nothing is charged until you actively subscribe from the Billing tab after the trial. You can use the Service during the trial and simply not subscribe; there's nothing to cancel or refund since no payment was ever taken.
Paid plans (Pro and Pro Max, plus Essential once it's a paid tier for you) are billed monthly in advance through PayPal Subscriptions, and renew automatically each billing cycle until you cancel. We never see or store your card details — PayPal handles payment data directly.
You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing tab, or directly from your PayPal account. There are no lock-in contracts and no cancellation fees. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep full access until then, and you won't be charged again after that period ends.
We don't offer refunds or credits for partial subscription periods — whether you cancel a day into a billing cycle or a day before it renews, the cycle you already paid for runs its full course. This applies to full-price and coupon-discounted payments alike. Every payment is solely for access to journaling, analytics, and AI-coaching software features; it is never a deposit, trading capital, or payment for any trading, brokerage, signal, or investment service.
If you're charged in error — a duplicate charge, a charge after you'd already cancelled, or a charge that doesn't match the plan you subscribed to — email us and we'll investigate and correct it, including a refund of the erroneous amount where warranted. This is the one exception to the no-prorated-refunds policy above: it covers our mistakes, not a change of mind about a period you already had full access to.
Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades aren't offered mid-cycle — cancel your current plan first (it stays active through the end of the period you already paid for), then subscribe to the lower tier once it ends.
